FEATURING TERRI BURKE – A fifteen year old African American teenager named Jordan Edwards was killed by police gunfire in Dallas, Texas recently. Edwards was leaving a party with friends when police shot into the car he was in, resulting in his death. Initially police released a statement claiming that the car was reversing in a “aggressive manner” toward officers. Later, after reviewing footage of the incident, police revoked the statement saying the car was driving away. Officer Roy Oliver, who fired the fatal shots, has been relieved of duty.
