FEATURING JENNIFER CLARK – The Republican Party has taken it upon itself to make sure ballots are being properly cast this election. The Donald Trump campaign has said it will monitoring precincts around the nation on November 8th. But the Democratic National Committee has asked courts to examine whether the GOP is violating a consent decree put in place in the 1980s to protect minority voters from intimidation. Racial minorities tend to vote Democratic.

Meanwhile a number of states that have passed very strict voter ID laws will be testing their restrictions. Texas is one of those states and early voters there pushed up against their voter ID law.
